Caitlin went to Bastion Point in Mission Bay to see the kite festival for Matariki.  She has been going to this fun event for the last 2 years.  It is always in July and we all look forward to going next year.  Some of the kites looked absolutely AMAZING!  We "googled" Matariki to find some more information about it and found out that it means Maori New Year. 

What else can you find out about Matariki?
